Raise Your Glass is a converted horsebox trailer which is a fully equipped bar and is run by myself and my husband Richard. We met in 2015 and after falling in love and getting engaged we got married in spring, 2019. Our special wedding day was an amazing barn wedding which took place in the stunning West Sussex countryside. A beautiful day we will cherish forever.
I love working with people and have a vast experience of customer service having been airline crew for many years travelling the world. I have also worked in the hospitality industry as an assistant manager in a pub and a night club in the UK and Australia.
Richard is the brains behind the business (or so he thinks!) and deals with the paperwork side of things, the ordering of stock and the maintenance of the bar. Together we make a great team.
One summer I was asked to run the house bar at a friends 25th wedding anniversary garden party. There were over 200 guests. Richard offered to help me out last minute as it was a big event and we enjoyed every second. Here the idea of Raise Your Glass was born.
We had such fun working together that the idea of running a mobile bar together got us excited and we thought that as horses have played such a massive role in my life there was no better way than to convert a vintage horsebox trailer.
A lot of thought, time and love has gone into the conversion of our horsebox bar with absolutely no expense spared. We truly hope you love it as much as we do and it will look beautiful at any event and can be decorated accordingly.
